Dr. Muhamad Firdaus Ab Rahman is a highly experienced expert in Shariah and Islamic law, holding a PhD in Islamic Revealed Knowledge and Heritage with a focus on Fiqh and Usul Fiqh from the International Islamic University of Malaysia (IIUM). He also holds a Master’s degree in Shariah from the University of Malaya and a Bachelor’s in Fiqh and Fatwa from Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM). Dr. Firdaus has extensive teaching experience and currently serves as a Senior Lecturer at USIM’s Faculty of Syariah and Law. He also holds leadership roles, including Coordinator for Training and Consultation at the Institute of Fatwa and Halal (IFFAH) and Halal Training Program Auditor under JAKIM. Dr. Muhammad Iqmal Hisham Kamaruddin is a prominent scholar specializing in Islamic finance, Shariah audit, and Islamic social enterprises. He holds a Ph.D. in Accounting from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, with a dissertation focused on “Financial Management, Financial Governance, and Accountability in Islamic Social Enterprises (ISE) in Malaysia.” He also has a Master’s in Economics and Muamalat Administration and a Bachelor’s in Accountancy, both from Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM), graduating with first class honors.

Dr. Iqmal’s academic expertise lies in Islamic accounting, with a particular emphasis on accounting for Islamic financial institutions, social enterprises, and Shariah audit. He is a Certified Professional Shariah Auditor (CPSA), accredited by the Finance Accreditation Agency (FAA), and has undergone rigorous Shariah audit training.

Professionally, he is a Senior Lecturer at USIM’s Faculty of Economics and Muamalat, where he also serves as Deputy Director of the Centre for Community Engagement & Industrial Networking (PLiMJI). Dr. Iqmal has played key roles in research projects related to Shariah audit, halal governance, and Islamic social finance. His work spans both national and international levels, evidenced by numerous awards for research and publication, including best paper awards in conferences on Islamic social finance and internal control practices.

Dr. Abd Hamid bin Abd Murad is a distinguished legal expert with extensive experience in both Shariah law and business law. He holds an LL.B (Hons) and a Master of Comparative Law (MCL), both from the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), and a Ph.D. in Business Law from Putra Business School, University Putra Malaysia. His doctoral thesis focused on “Liability and Redress for Damage Caused by Transboundary Movement of Living Modified Organisms (LMOs) in Malaysia,” reflecting his proficiency in dealing with complex legal matters.

Dr. Abd Hamid’s career spans academia, legal practice, and advisory roles. Currently a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Syariah and Law, Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM), he has also served as a Senior Research Fellow at the Institut Kajian Strategik Islam Malaysia (IKSIM) under the Prime Minister’s Department, Malaysia. His experience includes teaching, legal consulting, and active participation in strategic research related to Islamic law and human rights.

His earlier legal career as an advocate and solicitor saw him handling civil and criminal litigation, conveyancing, and advisory roles for major Malaysian institutions like Majlis Agama Islam Negeri Sembilan (MAINS) and Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM).
